How To Disable Windows Reputation-Based Settings
Windows includes reputation-based protection settings to help prevent potentially unwanted applications from running. Follow these steps to disable them:
Accessing Windows Security Settings
Press
Windows Key + I
to open Settings.Navigate to Privacy & Security → Windows Security.
Click on App & Browser Control.
Disabling Reputation-Based Protection
Under Reputation-based protection, click Reputation-based protection settings.
Toggle off the following options:
Check apps and files
SmartScreen for Microsoft Edge
SmartScreen for Microsoft Store apps
Potentially unwanted app blocking
Confirm any prompts to apply the changes.
